This blog will help to welcome new scouts and their parents to our troop and to share the knowledge and experiences of the leaders and older scouts of Troop 525. This information is intended to help scouts and parents with questions regarding packing lists, gear selection and tips for having a safe and enjoyable experience with our troop.
Your new scout will be given a binder, this blog is a supplement to that binder and not meant as a replacement. Please read and understand the important information in its entirety and ask if you have any questions.
This blog contains my opinions and experiences on certain subjects and gear and may not reflect those opinions of others in this troop. The information regarding gear and brands is only intended as a guide and in no way an absolute requirement unless indicated as such. I encourage your comments to share your opinions and experiences.
This blog will also attempt to serve as a place to communicate within the troop. Review notes from events and talk about how much fun we have had together.
