Welcome to Troop 525

On November 1, 1994, Troop 525 was chartered by the Tracy Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. No. 2031. We are in the Central District of the Greater Yosemite Council.

The goal of Troop 525 is to have fun. We are a very active and highly adventurous outdoors oriented troop. With an average of 30+ outings per calendar year, our activities include Cycling, Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, Canoeing, Kayaking, Climbing and Skiing.

Troop 525 offers a Scout-Led program instilling the values expressed by the Scout Oath, Law, Motto and Slogan. Leadership, Citizenship and the Skills of Self-Reliance in the Outdoors are taught by our senior scouts and supported by our adult leaders. It is our mission that the scouting skills and experiences you learn from Troop 525 remain a part of your adult life and that you are excited to pass these skills and experiences on to your future families.

Troop 525 believes that all scouts should have a well rounded life and we encourage young men to follow their passions in community, academics and sports. Our program is designed so each scout has the ability to participate in those passions as well as the many troop activities we offer. Rank advancements and merit badges are earned at a rate within the scouts own pace.

Troop 525 also believes in family. The success of your scout and our program cannot happen without the support from our families. We encourage your involvement.
